Experience the love of the divine

On 31 October 2023, we acquired the Padmalaya Chalet at an auction. It is to become a place of tranquillity and joy. A place where people can once again remember the divine. This is more important than ever in today's world.

We named it Padmalaya - Here 'Padma' is lotus and 'Alaya' is abode. Goddess Lakshmi has selected "Padma" for Her "Alaya" for which She is called "Padmalaya". In true sense 'Padma' is compared with clean and sacred heart and the Goddess always wants to make this pure heart her abode. In other words the man with clean heart can get the blessings of Goddess Mahalakshmi for ever.

The peaceful location on beautiful Lake Thun in the midst of marvellous nature is an excellent basis for our work. We will also use the property for administrative tasks and to impart knowledge about Hinduism. There will be a house temple where the residents will hold their daily prayers and rituals. Meditation sessions will also be held there.

But in the next few months, the building will undergo a thorough renovation. We will maintain the structure of the building itself. In collaboration with many volunteers and local specialists, the chalet will be made habitable again and will shine in new splendour.

The plans are: renovation of the roof, replacement of the windows, insulation, a new heating system, a complete renovation of all the interior rooms and the kitchen.
